Hey guys,
Just wondering if any body can help me with my 1990 cbr1000, just biught it and the guy that had it tried to reseal the tank and I think he clogged up the breather some how. I can only ride about a mile then the bike dies, I have to open up the tank to let the pressure in then the bike starts up again. I have tried to blow out the breather but it will not come unplugged, and he also took apart the petcock valve, it has a little diafram on the side of it with hose hookups on it, but he took the rubber diafram out and put it back together with no O ring just sealer. and I am not shure how the hoses run from the breather and on the petcock valve. It also has vacume activated carb slides, and when I open the trottle the slides don't go up. If some one had one that they could take a picture of so I could see the way the hoses are routed from the tank and the carbs that would be great.
