Any Merritt,BC Riders?

Tired of showing up at the parking lot and begging a group to go ride with. Plus you never really know who you are riding with in terms of safety (avy gear / training). The group i normally ride with are out of Lillooet so looking a bit closer to home. Know there are lots of Lower Mainland riders who come up to the Coquilhala lakes area...

hey i ride up on the coq lots....i actually come up to honeymoon great area, you ever ride up there, or know what the conditions there are like yet?

i think we might try to ride there this weekend if it keeps snowing. we would love you to come along. Do you know the area around the coqihalla lakes???

Rob

If this snow keeps up i think 2 of us will prolly go up to the coq on friday or saturday, probably park at the main rest area and try out henning, not sure if anyone will be into 10k yet, maybe coq friday and whistler saturday or something, does anyone know when you can start riding at honeymoon?

me and my brother in law are looking at the coq for saturday. let me know if you want to hook up as we would love a guide hahaha.

I may go up tomorrow if there is some more fresh overnight. Just a road ride as i am trying to tune in my clutching. Honeymoon is very rocky, even late season! haha i would think we need to wait awhile for that to be open. Will try the weekend as well if i don't end up going to revy

Few of us will be heading out sat, most likely trail ride have some tuneing to do and don't think there be enough snow to go off road and not take out a a-arm. Might have to go right up henning if snow is poor down low, if not will run out to 10 k then on to 22 k and back or run out too lawless creek and out that way it all depends on the snow and how much or how little there is.

10k is alright now... you can get up to the cabin right on top of the 1st bowl. you can also drop down the the second bowl although it isnt good yet because of all the hidden stumps also south of the cabin if you follow the ridge along you can drop down to the left and there are some great playing areas to play in that actually have snow in them.(windblows snow into the areas and it accumilates)

Hope I helped:beer;

HuskyPower, I moved to Merritt last year and I am also looking for some riders to go with this year. I also have a little time off in the next two weeks. Give me a shout if you are interested in doing some riding.

I went to 10k on the 24 and it was alright but still needs more snow I almost messed up my sled on a hidden stump but I will be going to henning ok the 27 and maybe to to 22k the next day but I don't know 22k area if some body wants to meet up with me at the rest stop and show me and a few others around
