any masonic brothers on here?

I've got several friends that are shriners.
Darn good organization.

Are the Masons tied to the shriners at all?

Tell us about your organization.

Ask one to be one,

Yes the shrine is tied to the masons. You must be a master mason (3rd degree) to be in the shrine. Its a great thing look into it. Find a local lodge in your area and ask them about it.

Despite the conspiracies, Freemasonry and the shrine are great organizations, I petitioned to join when I was 27 (I'm 31 now) and my only regret was I didn't do it sooner. I've met so many people who've expressed their gratitude to the masons and shriners for their help and charitable works, especially through the shiners hospital. X2 that you must be a master mason to be a shriner.

...oh by the way, don't you think if we controlled the country we would've picked a better president!

We are a secret society

No really we are not we are a society with secrets. Its all a good thing. Masons look out for the good of all man kind more especially a brother mason.

I've heard that the members don't know what is really going on until they get way up in rank or whatever it is.

why would the Masons want good presidents..?? when the Presidents are just scapegoats for the Masons agenda.

I heard that when you really get high up in rank in the Masons (the ranks 99 percent of the Masons don't know exists) that there is some very naughty stuff going on...

Now this thread is getting somewhere!

This is just a way for conspirators to keep their argument going, how can someone disprove something that doesn't exist? Its like me telling every college grad that there's actually a secret super college that only a select few get invited to! They would know I was full of $%@# but couldn't disprove me. The highest level in blue lodge masonry is master mason, 3° that's it, there's higher degrees in different rites but doesn't make one master mason rank any higher than another. Don't go thinking too hard about us, it isn't as mysterious as dan brown books make it out to be!

Who's dan brown?

It's ignorant to think that ANY organization doesn't have some sort of shenanigans going on in the upper levels. Of course you wouldn't know about what's going on. No one would join if that was the case.
