Any low altitude TM8 pump gas kits out there??

Kit?
Boost?
Fuel?
Altitude?
Stock fuel system? (fuel regulator, ...)
Fuel Pressure?

Looking to run the TM8, 7 lbs boost, 1000 feet, 100 avgas just wondering what you guys are doing to make it work down here.

Thanks in advance..

MIKE

at low elevation even with a low boost actuator you may need to port the wastegate to achieve desired boost level.

I bought a new pump gas non-innercooled boondocker turbo kit this past all and installed it on a 07 m8 153. I purchased the low boost actuator and the manual boost controller from BD. I am running around 5.5 - 6 lbs of boost riding at 1200- 3200 feet in elevation. BD recomends sunoco 112 when mixing fuel. So I am running a 50/50 mix of sunoco 112 and 93 oct pump fuel. I am only running the what is in the kit no extra fuel system upgrades. I do not know what my fuel pressure is, I dont have a guage for that. With the new bd kits you don't even need to think about it. I hear you only need to worry about fuel pressure numbers if you are having a problem to diagnose.

My experience has been excellent with this kit. True pull the rope and go reliability. This is my first turbo sled. I just installed per the instructions filled it up with fuel and rode it. Right out of the box it ran excellent. I drove it for two weekends before I ever even looked at the control box. The numbers that came in the box were extremely close to spot on. The plugs were showing rich so recently I have dropped a few points on the psi settings to lean the sled out a little bit.

I have been riding this sled every weekend sense the beginning of December and it is sooooooooo fun!!! It is a total animal. If you are on the fence at all I recommend you do it cause you will never regret it!

hope this helps
