Poor record.
Although the 250cc model, most of the early dual cam motors had and still have major issues. The smaller the less likely but this is why some stay with the single cam 450/530 or older 450/525RFS engine in the new Beta's.
I rode a 2008 250XCW with that engine in the new frame this summer, still want one, when they run right they can push a 450!
At the snow show I was asking Mr. Webb accross from our booth why the race bike he was displaying for the 25HR was a 530, he a KTM dealer said he did'nt want to risk losing their fourth overall win in a year, on a motor he did not trust.
Sad thing is they did not get to finish, that was the same bike Kevin Parks died on at the event, it took the steam right out of the team.
