Don't know the story but that pic has been posted many times in the past on numerous forums. Maybe someone who really knows will chime in. Big critters though!
 
^^^yes. That was back during the short period we had that you could hunt them.
 
Can you still hunt them?

This was and e-mail from a friend, it was big piney and that they were messing with some stock in that area. Is that area west of big piney in the hunt area? I spent alot of time up there last summer. Looks like great place to ride.

Just talked to a buddy who knows those fellas...No, those are the sawtooths in the picture background. If you drive North of Big Piney towards Daniel Junction, you would see them if you looked NNW.

You can't hunt wolves in Wyoming anymore as some federal judge declared that WY was not capable of management. Hopefully next season, we'll be able to destroy a couple of hundred.

The area to the West of Big Piney is really good riding, but I prefer the Afton side of the Wyoming Range (the mtns to the West of BP).
