I worked in Westport for a summer back in 1987. That was a great summer. I got sick ALMOST every single say on the water.
Islander Charters. Neddie Farrington was the owner. She was a GREAT old gal.

I worked on the KayJay, which was later sold to another outfit and went down a few years later. I think they still have the Neddie Rose and the Westwind...but old Neddie died a couple years ago and may have sold her boats. Not sure.

My last day of work, the skipper (Bill Geary) let me fish. I caught 2 nice kings. I'll dig up a pic. Had a big one that was around 35-45 pounds. Never did get to weigh it.
