Any Frrrreshhhh?

Is there any fresh snow at Southfork? We are leaving Friday for a 800 mile drive. Is there enough snow there? Where would be the best place to go for some safe riding? don't need the steep and deep, just some play fields and boondocking. Thanks in advance

Cumbres Pass about 70 miles south of Alamosa has over 80 inches. I rode this last weekend and it was great, not sure if they have fresh since I left on Sunday though. Tons of area to ride but nothing is marked. We only went in a few miles and found plenty to play in since everyone else was passing up great snow to find more great snow further in.

Ski report this morning reported 1 inch of new. Willow Park or Beaver Creek are the easiest to navigate. The snowmobile club has maps and signs to help you keep track of where you are if you're not familiar with the area. Bring your safety equipment and ride smart. Everything seems well bonded, but it's all sitting on top of some really weak layers. Have Fun:)
