Any Ford Raptor owners?

I see an old thread from January; thought would see if anyone else has a Raptor and looking for their feed back.

How is that HO motor with the gearing?!

All the hype and more!

I'm loving mine. Only have 300 miles on it, but it is the most fun I have had driving a truck. I have only driven it in normal mode and haven't tried sport mode yet. I don't know which gets more credit but the HO engine and 10 speed transmission are a perfect match. Pictures don't do them justice. They look even better in person.

This thread's worthless without video...

Since the photos won't do it justice... We all love to see some video of that Raptor HO motor in action...!:eyebrows:

Even though it's not the Raptor, I love driving the wife's '16 F150 5.0L. I think it's one of the most comfortable trucks I've even driven.

I talked to a ford dealer that had one. He said they get about $8,000 over sticker for them. That was enough for me to see. :face-icon-small-coo

Kind of like snow checking, right?! ha

I've seen some dealers that don't have that type of mark up are at least msrp.

I see they went to the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost® High Output Engine. Aluminum body. Is that new for 2017?

For 99% of buyers, they are about the dumbest purchase possible. When you could get a diesel for the same money and actually do some work with it.

Great...now your mere opinion has scared away Raptor owner's from making further comments.

I would argue most people that are looking for a true working truck, is looking for a diesel.

It would be dumb for me to have two diesels sitting in the garage. The Raptor was purchased to have fun while getting from point A to point B. My Duramax is used for hauling and pulling toys.

My Raptor has been the most fun that i could have with a pick up truck, It just turned over 100k, and still gets down the road with bravado.

It is in my humble opinion the best truck Ford has ever built, bar none.

The cool thing about it, I got this truck to please me, no one else :juggle:

Diesel trucks are nice, but not for me thanks............... Hell I might even buy a Ski-Doo again :)
