Any fix for bog off the start? - 09 M8 HCR

Yellow/white spring is not Ti, Ti spring is not painted

put a fresh spring in, they loose performance over time, break often also

HCR came with titanium. I got a yellow and white spots painted on mine. Does this really indicate its not the stock titanium? It looks titanium! lol

OK then its Ti, but when you say "yellow/white" that means a steel spring to me, dots dont count

sorry for any confusion, have pulled the cover and made sure its not broke, cant always tell just looking in there

My 09 HCR does this also but it has a turbo on it, If I shut it off after riding, cold, hot, idle down what ever. It fires right back up no prob, but if I hit the throttle right away it will nearly die or throw you over the bars, if you let it idle for 10 seconds it goes no problem. Its not a clutching issue it has to do with fuel or a lack of power on start up. wonder if the tether caused something weird, I put one on mine also, and have never heard of anyone else having this problem.

Bump...

Has anyone with this problem figured it out yet?

I was still experiencing this right up to the end of last season.

My sled does this little bog thing sometimes on starting the sled. If I touch the flipper at all it bogs or dies. I have to turn off and restart the sled 2-3 times and it resets something, don't know what it is but that clears it up. Only happens when starting the sled after sitting for a few minutes.

If it's a bog that is happening while riding not just after a short break and restart, Make sure your power valve cables are adjusted correctly and slides slide nice and easy. Might also have a sticky oil pump. Check to make sure it's not sticking and loading you up with a bunch of oil at idle. Mine did that so I deleted the oil injection, sled runs a lot better now with the correct amount of oil!!

I think mine is either, the tether, pipe is cold and needs wrapped, the turbo spins when off and causes some kind of weird lean bog until it levels back out, the capacitor takes a few seconds to recharge, or what ever. It doesn't make much sense because as soon as you wait 15 sec idling or work it through the bog it doesn't happen again until you restart it again, its just weird on mine. I learned to start and let it idle.

My 09 hcr had a boondockers turbo and the only time it would have a low end bog is when the belt deflection was off otherwise it was flawless. Had trouble with it sputtering on the top end and it was the spark plugs. Hope the new sled is as fun to change plugs in.

Another sticking oil pump arm?

Oil pump sticking creates a slow but still moving bog most of the time, it all depends on what type of bog.

So I disconnected the Throttle Safety Switch (while always wearing a tether). The result seemed to be less to no bog when starting to accelerate after stopping for a short time. But the hesitation was still there if the sled was shut off for a short time.
