Let me make it clearer for you....Yamaha snowmobile dealers are dropping like fly's and since your to narrow minded to notice out of the 3 manufacturers selling snowmobiles in the US Yamaha is at the bottom when it comes to annual sled sales and as long as they stay committed to only producing heavy 4S sled Yamaha sled sales will always be at the bottom...Just because you and your chump pal stingray buy into the hype doesn't mean the rest of us have to.

What does "sled mods" have to do with riding ? ...I ride western Wyoming to Sicamouse Canada and all places in between....I'll be riding in 3 to 4 weeks @ either Cooke or Tog. usually start at either one will be In MT. most of Nov. riding Bridger & Big Sky than heading north for a few months.

They don't just curious. Cooke and Tog. Get snow that early. Is it any good that early. I ride Mt St Helens, Mt Adams, Whistler, Hoodoo and Bend out here. I a l so make trips to Seeley Lake, MT, Island Park, Kilgore, up Logan Canyon, UT, also by Park City and Driggs ID. I want to ride Alpine and Tog. I hunted area H in WY this year and loved the place. I would love to ride it. I live by Portland and would love to move to WY, ID, MT ot UT. Do you live in WY?

Yes they do like clock work every year...guy were already riding the horns a few weeks ago when the area picked up almost a foot in the high country.

They never pre sold any and they told me there customers would rather buy lighter weight skidoo so they said they did not order any 2015 yamahas. Just skidoos. Thats what the sales man told me.

Yeah, that's exactly what they said yesterday. They changed their tune from the last time I talked to them.

I think that is telling of the situation that Yamaha is in right now. Until they truly put a competing sled out there dealers aren't going to take the risk to buy them. Hopefully the 5 new engines in 5 years comes to fruition at some point and gives the mountain segment that true game changer.
