Yeah, Saturday was a total gong show...kudo's to Dean at Alpine for getting the event off to a start. Lots of really fast sleds. Q-Dog was winning lots of races with his turbo'd SPS Racing Polaris 700 in the 2 stroke class.
I think Randy won the fastest sled though.
I was all set to head home on Sunday, but Q talked me into staying and I'm glad he did. Great sunshine, got the helicopter and started filming him shredding some serious powder 10 feet over the top...this was way cool!
Neil was the first over Monster with a great pull and Shain's second run he rallied right over the top. It was also nice to see a Ski Doo turbo sail over!
Got some great heli footage of most of the runs! Laird made a great attempt at Gibbs crack twice, he got most of the way to the top and managed to get turned around and safely off the hill...he is one heck of a rider!
There were some totally awesome sleds at the BIS this year...look for segments on some of them in the upcoming movie Mountain Mod Mania 7!
