Anti-Stab Wheel Kits On Nytro

I am putting on a new Camo track on my Nytro and I am thinking about protecting it by putting on a set of anti-stab wheels, just wondering who sells them, perfered in Canada? Or has someone ever made a homemade set? How many wheels are necessary?

Thanks
NB

Just go down to your local Yami Dealer they have a kit I just put on.Cost me about $140.00. Kit is one small wheel on each side that mounts about 3 inches back on the outside of each rail. Can't find the bill in the mess on my desk it must be out in the truck. I will get it tomorrow & post the Yami part number.

SLP - $100.

I put them in the 1st time - first photo. Since, I've put them all the way forward, cutting off a little of the aluminum and rounding the rail off. Remove the front 2 black rubber stops, use those mounting holes. You will want the interior support wheels also.

Rec Supply in Saskatoon Sask has a pretty sweet anti stap kit, i've put 2 on for some buddys that went to timberskids. I believe they were 99$ CDN, they were outta stock but last week i was told they got 20 more in.

Thanks for your replies. So with those kits you remove the black end caps and simply bolt the wheels on? Seems better than replacing the end caps every now and then. Any one have a pic of it done that way?

No don't take the end caps off you will stab your track for sure!

Just make sure that you install the anti stab kit as far forward as possible. So drill the holes through the rails just after the end caps, that way the kit has the most effect. I bought a kit from my local dealer for $40 bucks that is a single wheel on the inside of the rails that is about 2 inches away from the rail.

Hope the info helps.

vipertonytro i hope that the dealer didnt sell you that kit as an anti stab kit , its a low snow kit and is totally diffrent . last friday i was in a rush for a anti stab kit and all 3 yami dealers here in edmonton tryed to pawn off the same kit to me as an anti stab kit , has anyone heard of just making there own kit with some skateboard wheels and an axle with spacers ?

You are absolutaly right it is a low snow kit but on my Nytro with the timbersled skid there is not enough room between the front bump stop & the rail end cap for a shaft & wheels like the picture above. So the wheel has to go behind the bump stop. When you mount it there you cant have a shaft go between the rails because when the shock is fully compressed it would hit the shaft. So my only option was to place these wheels only on the outside. It seems to work because when you let all of the air out of the rear shock & couple the suspension fully back the front caps dont get close to the windows in the track, the wheels hold the track away.Couple of rides now & the end caps don't get chewed anymore.Maybe the stock skid works different. Hope I explained this well enough as I cant seem to post pics of what I am trying to say.

You can buy just the anti stab wheels, CR has them in stock.

Skateboard wheels are too wide, and its tough to get the right height, but if ya want skateboard wheels, my brother owns a skate/snowboard shop here as well.:D

IMO, the Timber should come with anti stab as STD equip.

remove the end caps you don,t need them, drill the rivet hole out for the bolt and put the anti stab kit there you want it as close to the end as possible, grind down the end of the rail so that in transitions smoothly into the hifax. if you leave the end caps on and put the anti stab kit behind them there is still a chance the caps could catch your track.
