Anti-sieze

Does anybody use anti-seize on their crank shaft before installing the clutch back onto the crank?
Looking to get imput on either why or why not.

No definately not, needs to be super clean. I use 400 grit emery cloth to clean or a scotchbrite pad. Both surfaces need to be cleaned. If you use any anti sieze or lube on the clutch or crankshaft it will not seat properly and possibly spin and weld itself on, then it will be nearly impossible to get off.

x2...i have asked this question lots...and asked the best cat mechanics around...clean clean clean...

x3...I tried anti seize...it spins....best thing clean both surfaces really good, then remove it once a year by the hydraulic method.
