Anti Ratchet Drivers 2012 Pro Rmk

Ok guys I will try this again. Has anyone put Avid anti ratchet drivers (2.86, 8 tooth)on their 2012 Pro? Did you have to pull the chain case (It is glued to the bulkhead). I know all I have to do is heat up the glue to get it off but I would rather not if I dont have to.

Try a search. I believe this was discussed about the 2011's and not having to pull it. It is the same as the 2012 minus the glue.

Ya I posted a couple weeks ago and no one could tell me any thing about that. Someone has had to of done this already to their 2012.

Anti-ratchet drivers on a Pro

To install any 7 tooth drivers on a Pro, you will have to pull the chaincase and have the case modded by FTX. The track will hit the chaincase with anything smaller than 8 tooth 2.86" pitch drivers.

Yep put a PC on my 11 and no chain case removal, that job is a pita and always will be ,I think the DD cats are easier,certainly cleaner!LOL

I relize the axle will come in and out with the stock drivers no problem but what about with the new drivers. They are towards the outside of the axle. Did you change out your drivers?

Changed the drivers on my 2012 and no, didn't remove the chain case.

I'm planning on going with the new 3" camo extreme 156, I had the PC track on it since it was new and was very happy with the way it performed. Just always have to try something new I guess. This year is going to be the 3" turbo exteme assault"

Did you ever ride with a 5.1 PRO to compare the PC?

I ride with my son who has the 5.1 and it works real well also, but we both thought that the PC track performs alittle better. Just someones opinion.
