Another top end bog (video included)

Clean injectors

I ran a pint of toluene thru my 12 assault a couple weeks ago. I found it at menards in a gallon container for 20 bucks.
Toluene is a pretty harsh cleaner, so only use it once a year. I think you can add up to a quart per tank though

I didn't have the det issue, but was chasing rpm issues.

12 assault, drop in kit 12.5 comp. 1200ft

It definitely sounds like it is starving for fuel. Try and check fuel pressure and or change injectors.

Over the last month I had this issue 2011 Pro with Slp stage 3 kit and Rk tech pistons. Found 22 throttle safety errors on the digital wrench. Changed the tss thought it was fixed but "not". Last weekend took it to Northstar Performance in Conway NH(very knowledgeable 35 year Polaris tech and avid rider, independent shop non dealer). After 5 hours of messing around with everything we could think of(all the normal culprits), unplugged the kill switch(located at the base of the pro tapers) and all problems gone. Plugged it back in and low and behold problems came back within the first couple blips of the flipper, unplugged again problems gone 15 mile test ride no issue!!! Intermittent short while riding, not a constant, but just like dropping a cylinder or cutting fuel! Sled has 4850 miles on it with no significant problems so far, it has been to Wyoming, Northern Nh and Northern Me (yes we have backcountry riding on the East Coast, going to Chic Choc Mtns in Canada next week) Sled has been rolled over to unstuck many times. Thinking this didn't do the switch any good. Just a thought but may try unplugging it, fixed my issue, which by the way was exactly the same as the video.

Thanks Rick from Northstar for thinking out of the box and having the exact harness with safety switch and kill switch in stock!!!

Interesting

My kill has been ripped off a couple times, now I just keep it off and taped the wires

ya no dead spots

it just had a floating reset voltage. Sometimes it went to .6 sometimes .3 .9 .8 etc. New tps and it resets properly

however it still wont rev passed 7400 on a lift so I'm not sure the solution was found. I'll ride it this weekend

EGT can cause that ..... injector can cause that.... tps can cause that .....
Last week i have egt check engine ....my sled was exactly like in the video,,, put a new egt and my sled ran very good now .....

Have you double checked the exh bellows??

Even a very small hole will give you this..

Also when you look at the bellow nut.. feel the edge towards the nut.. feel how it rough.. Smooth that out.. this will make ur bellows last 5 times longer!!

tip of the day!

No update. I'm going to just take it in, utilize my warranty front to back then sell it.

I'm going with a Freeride next year it looks like... Half of this season was plagued with bugs and totally takes the fun out of it for me.

Hopefully the doo treats me better, I'm going to miss the pro chassis that's for dang sure.
