Frosty, good post hey I read some where that Tom's Snowmobile also is really good at fixing the fox floats,,, Either way though Holz knows his stuff when it comes to suspension too.
The Fett Brothers (non adjustable) fix is only $86 for the front shocks. The Nextech (adjustable) are over $200. What is Holz charging to make the shocks work?
I think riding my RX-1 for years has made me WAY exagerate my inputs into the sled for years. Now that I am riding a lighter sled, I feel far less beat up and I'm absolutely shocked at what I can make this sled do. I was wishing someone was making a best of video while I was riding it was that amazing to me. This sled makes you feel like a pro. No wonder Chris Burhant (spelling) rides them.
Maybe the Cat rack will work. I already printed the Mountain Addivtion track Rack stuff to buy one. I guess I'll dig a little deeper. Thanks for the idea. Does anyone make a Black or Orange 2 1/2 gallon can?
Don't get me wrong guys, I absolutely love the sled. It's in my nature to nit pick things a bit. I have been the Aircraft Maintenance Quality Assurance Superintendent for a major Air Force base for a number of years so it's in my blood. My apologies if I over do it once in a while.
Frosty it looks like all your research is helping you dial in an already great machine. I get a chance to ride stock 09s and mine every weekend; so it is easy to see the handling improvements with Powder Pros and the Holz revalve. I think there are other good set ups but I am real happy with the improvement. I will say if a proper set up in the production floats are this much better I wonder what Mark could do with a set of the Evols. Oh wait I can't spend any more money. I have the QRS gas can deal and it's fine but I think I want the Mountain Addiction. I was checking out BigRed118's it's a nice set up.
