First of all, Congrats to the Southern Mountain guys/gals. It looks as though your in for anther good dump of snow!

I've been in Colorado for quite a few years and it seems as though every snow storm I can remember either goes South or hits North Colorado, never BOTH. Is this just a normal weather pattern thing? Has it ALWAYS been like this? Or do storms sometimes hit the ENTIRE state of CO?

Just a thought while I'm sitting here (patiently) waiting for our turn up North.

Well....we could not wait for snow in our area for another moment so we are taking off for South Fork at noon today. Our group has never ridden there before and we are all looking forward to it.

About 18 of fresh in silverton, 24 at wolf. Problem with silverton is the 17" rocks and stumps. This was our first real storm.
