another primary clutch cracked in half

I also broke myn last year at about 1600 miles, 2012 Pro, was in the middle of a trip at cooke city so I just bought a new one and I didnt have warranty anyway.
 
I lost the primary on my 2012 last year also, 1612 miles. Was still under warranty, and they ended up rebuildin the motor as well.
 
happened to my buddies 2012 when he went to pre-season his sled. 1200 miles as well. i didnt realize it was a common issue.

watched the silber turbo install..

I wouldn't want his techs putting on my primary..

Only held it in one spot (with a long flat bar)then torqued it to 100ft! Betting the clutch went on **** eyed!!
 
Dont know if mine has been off, bought it used last season with 800 miles on it.
I have changed weights but I do that with the clutch on the sled, just pull the cover.

Here is Pics of mine. It split about 3/4 of the way around, I cut the rest off.

Broken primary

I changed one on an 11 last year with 600 miles it had a massive engine failure which may have been the cause, the pto bearing went junk took out the crank seal fried pto piston broke the skirt and blew a hole out the bottom of the case. I found the cluch had snapped when I went to pull it off, snapped off at the end of the spider where the threads end, welded it back together pulled right off .
 
i have pics on here somewhere from a 2012 that i had to bring into the dealer. It had 1500 miles and had never been off the machine. when i was asking around about the problem the 2012 models came up often. most felt there was a bad batch and i'd agree with that.
