Another Nytro SC question...

okay...first off, what is everyone getting in the way of fuel mileage on a STOCK nytro? I've got about 200 miles on mine now and i'm getting just a bit over 10 MPG. with a 7 gallon fuel tank, that's not making me feel groovey about bolting on a SC and going down in MPGs from there. i already carry a sh!t load of camera equipment/tripod so anything more than a 2 gallon backup tank isn't going on the sled.

what's the deal on the new 10 gallon replacement tank i've been hearing about?

I've been getting anywhere from 10-14mpg in a variety of conditions from trail riding to waist deep pow. It seems to be getting a little bit better with every ride......not sure how much longer that will go on for. I have about 700miles on mine now, bone stock.

And by the way, keep up the good work on your vids!!!!!!

thanks dog...i'd be happy with 14mpgs if that's what it will settle into...still, the SC is gonna chow the gas. hmmmm.

Actually my s/c nytro doesn't seem to burn any more fuel than a stocker!!!Last year rode an m7 carried gas everytime and had to use it everytime,this year I have yet to pack gas and am back at the truck with two or three bars still showing!!!!I'M VERY PLEASED WITH FUEL MILAGE SO FAR!!!!!Plus I have all that extra power.Make a climb and watch your friends try all day to get to your mark.HA Ha HA

will these nytro's stock go as far on 7.4 ish gals vs. say a rev 800 on 10.5 ish

Or maybe that is "FUEL" management Make 1 run then watch for 20 minutes or so LOL
