Sounds like a done deal with availability around early November. We will have them as soon as available.

Will be a 156x16x 3" lug, 3" pitch."..fits XP with no changes besides the 7T drivers.

Isnt there any problems created by running the track THAT tight in the tunnel?? Track speed issues or anything?
This would definatly be the ultimate boondocking track!!

If it fits the XP, why would it be a 153 and not a 154? That seems weird!

because of the 3" pitch....has to be intervals of 3 so either 153 or 156....and with 7T drivers the 153 will be the best fit.

We've seen zero issues with running that much track on the XP's and have done several including 174"....the heavier track does rob a few MPH but that's to be expected.

Edit: I stand corrected, it will be a 156 length due to mfg requirments. Hopefully enough adjustment with stock idlers or possible go to a larger idler if necessary.

Yamaha has a 3" pitch.... and 16 wide capability..

The 3" target market is for the Turbo Yami guys.

Wish it came in a 15" wide.

So this 156 3" is a single ply?

What is the weight difference between the 156" 3" and a CE 2.5 single ply 2.5"?

i beg to differ.. they do amazing things to the NA 800s.... seen more then a few cruising around and they do VERY well.

i think its gonna really bridge the gap for those who want the 3" paddle but dont want a wild huge hillclimber like the 174 and even a 162 can be considered.

I've been talking with Camoplast Corporate a lot lately.

It sounds like these tracks are a go... Limited number at first to test the market so get your order in with your dealer.

They will have to wait till the remainder of the "normal production" is done and should be avail Mid November - December for shipping from the dealer of your choice.

The 3" will not happen in a 15" wide in the foreseeable future. The mold for the 3" lug tracks is 16" wide and it would be too costly to make a tool and justify the cost with the minuscule amount of 3" lug tracks sold.

That is straight from the source.

Brew... great job on this... you were THE one to get the fire lit on bringing this track to market! I think you are first in line of all the dealers to take delivery of this track.
Your prices and customer service are a plus as well, you have been a pleasure to do business with :face-icon-small-hap

If that is the case, ask them if they would warranty a cut track.....

id rather put the power into forward momentum instead of spinning like iam on ice at 400mph

Lynn and Dave,

Camoplast does not cut tracks for customers...Dealers can cut them for you if they are equipped to do so.

I've been told by Camoplast directly, it voids the warranty from them... If the dealer that cut the track wants to warranty the track...that would be up to them.

Also, know that with the 3" you have to be super careful on hardpack and not over-speed them on marginal/hard snow or they will delaminate.

As I've said before... these "hot rod" tracks should be looked at like a set of racing tires... a consumable item.
