Another controller option

Thank you for the link powerfuldodge!

The 2 stroke version of the PTi setup will be even more user friendly than in years prior!
In addition to what the website has listed for features, 2 stroke forced induction applications will now be equipped with two of the TMAP sensors to monitor your changes in elevation as you ride. One of the sensors is placed in your charge tube/airbox, and the other is left in the open air under your hood. This monitors the barometric changes exactly how your ECU does.
With this new setup, there will be NO MORE messing with your fuel controller as you ride in from the parking lot and up to your play areas. The PCV will automatically sense the change as you ride and make the appropriate compensation to your boost fueling map.
This product is applicable for 2011-2013 ProRide RMK's, 2007-2010 Dragon RMK's, and even the Arctic Cat M8's and M1000's.

For any more information, feel free to ask - and even more info will come at Haydays.

So does the pcv only control the stock fuel injectors or will it have the capability to control aux injectors also? Most turbo kits for the Pro come with aux fuel injectors. So this will be able to autotune for altitude and temp using the TMAP sensor? Thanks

The current product that is on the shelf for consumer purchase is only capable of running the stock injectors, not the secondaries - yet. This version with the ability to control the secondaries will be available very soon for the ProRide RMK's needing this additional fueling capacity.
This PCV by itself will not tune like the autotune kit does. This does not monitor the air/fuel ratio of the exhaust (which the autotune kit utilizes) for tuning. Only by pairing the PCV with the available Autotune Kit will you be able to set your desired AFR to tune for.

Simply put, if you are riding at 5000' where the air pressure is 12.2PSIa, and the ECU wishes to see 13.2:1 air/fuel ratio for a given riding condition -- but you've added 2PSI of boost to that pressure (giving you a total pressure of 14.2PSIa) -- the PCV will add the appropriate amount of fuel to compensate and keep the AFR at 13.2:1 just like the ECU would if it was fueling the machine at that 14.2PSIa condition which is around 1000' elevation.
The same can be true when you rise to 10000' and run a different amount of boost - the PCV will know and fuel accordingly.

Also, the T in TMAP stands for temperature and monitors the intake temperature of the air entering the engine. If desired, the user can set up a trim table which will alter fueling as the temperature of the charged air begins to climb on long pulls.

The end result with the PCV-PTi is a product that will provide consistent fuel delivery day after day, no matter the elevation, temperature, or if it's sunny or cloudy. Missing any of those epic powder days where your sled must run perfect is not an option...

See there is ignition module inside the PCV for Cat 800 now. How does that work? Is it only possible to adjust timing against boost, or can you adjust timing aganist TPS and RPM aswell?

When this new Fuel + Ignition Controller is available, it will have an identical format to all other Power Commanders.
The Ignition will have the same format of RPM vs Throttle Position throughout the entire range for those not running forced induction machines.
And related to the Boost mapping, the ignition tables can be set up to allow you to alter timing relative to boost pressure as well (RPM vs Boost table).
This is ONLY available for the Arctic Cat M8/M1000 at this time.

Thanks,
