And you thought you were stuck this weekend!!

There's a little Phazer under this mound of snow, took us about 45 minutes of diggin using our snow shoes to get her out...
I use her for transportation to and from my cabin..

Very cool Greg!!!

How is your cabin? Snow should be great in that area.

Cabin is doing fine Kurtis, still standing luckily, lots of weight on top it's just screaming for me to relieve the pressure  I need to run up there again next week to finish the snow removal... Unfortunately this past fall I left my extension ladder on the ground, now it's buried till spring...
Tons of snow up thata way!!!
Doug - did take 4 pulls to get her started :) , what was more funny is after we got it out was seeing all the powder coming over the hood as we drove her off the mountain, me plus a passenger, just held it to the bar all the way!!!

snow removal trick

Here's a trick for you to try when removing snow from roofs like yours.
take a length of rope tie a piece of wood on the ends, throw it up and over the other side, have a buddy grab it and you both saw through the snow down the roof slope. it will slide pretty easily on a roof line like the picture.

Ya, but you risk damaging the roof material that way, most people around here have a longish aluminum pole with a 2x6 on the end to form a T, plop it on top and pull from a slight distance... a little bulkier than your method but you pull inthe direction the roofing material is designed to handle it.
