amsoil interceptor oil

I have a 2012 800 with 2000 miles on it. I removed and cleaned the VES for the first time last night. I have been running Amsoil Interceptor in the injection system from the beginning, except for the little bit of Gold that was mixed with the Interceptor that was originally in the oil tank when purchased. When I removed the valves from the cylinders they pulled out easily without any resistance. At first inspection, very little deposits on the valve itself (minimal carbon deposit on sides of top section near stem, no deposits on the cutaway of the valve itself). After removing the bellows normal amount of oil inside and very clean. The two holes in both VES housings were not plugged at all. The pressure ports in both cylinders were not plugged either. So to say, very little cleaning effort. My opinion is that the Amsoil Interceptor is doing its job and doing it well.

Been using it for years never a problem! Polaris gold is sticky gummy crap. Have herd some stupid sale pitches for polaris dealers................. “Use anything else than gold and you motor will be shot in 800 miles”
