Sorry if this is repost. If not read on. Make sure you open the link at the bottom. Looks like the real deal.

Ammunition Accountability Act

Did you know anything about this, Pennsylvania is one of the states mentioned.
The gun control liberals got a setback when the Supreme Court upheld the 2nd amendment rights in Wash. DC.
Now they are trying to come thru the back door.

Please forward this to all you know that want to keep their guns!!!!
Maybe we can start a ground swell, or continue it at least, that will go all over the U.S. and have a positive impact on the outcome.

Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it Seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and
Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011.
(Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo then they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

Thank god I live where I do. We shoot our state animals, carry guns in the open and post billboards on our highways when you enter the state. It will not pass here.

Can't recall which member said "Obama has better things to do than worry about your guns"

Well, he doesn't have to worry, he has a plan to take 'em. No worries.
(or the ammo) either way.

He just signs the paper as it crosses his desk. The Democratic congress will take care of the rest.

 Of course Washington would be on the list!! Friggin' west side!! They will have a fight in eastern Washington but the west side will be so pleased with their tree hugging selves.

Not good signs people.

I think most of these bills have already been defeated, but they vow to keep trying until they are successful.

Seems it started as some company that makes the serial number printing machine, wants to sell more machines. They demoed the technology at a state leaders conference. So, they pitched it as a boon for state revenue (due to the tax traceability), a security issue (since the lazy police want to just back trace the number and put the screws to the guy that bought it), even pitched it to the ammunition industry (since they'd kill home make ammo, and get to resale all ammo), and as an appeasement to the Socialist (I mean democrats) so you could "maintain" your second amendment right to bare arms, they'd just not allow you to have ammo. I'm sure the Socialist would also like to know; who has ammo, cause they probably have a gun. I'm also sure, that this would be a prelude to a waiting period and bulk ammo legislation. Seems every state has killed it, but every state's anti gun group will just keep reintroducing the bill. This has big money backing it. The downfall of America is slippery slope.

Well if they pass it I'm going to need an extension, cause I have way to much ammo to shot between now and 7/1/2011. :D

from AZ: B. BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2011, A PRIVATE CITIZEN OR A RETAIL VENDOR
SHALL DISPOSE OF ALL NONCODED AMMUNITION THAT IS OWNED OR HELD BY THE CITIZEN
OR VENDOR.

that is crap, thanks for F-ing up America you liberal tards!

Problem with this sort of thing is it isn't going to stop the bad people out there from shooting other people.

I'm from Canada, we need to have a special license just to buy ammo. Doesn't matter if its 300 mag or .22

And you know what, the criminals still don't have a problem getting guns and ammo even with the multi-billion dollar gun registry and licensing fiasco that our wornderful government just had to have to save us all from ourselves.

I don't own any guns and probably wont because I do not hunt. But what in the hell. There is no sense in restricting the amount of ammo you can buy, own or have. They could ban guns and ammo all together and I am willing to bet it would not change anything in the states. all of the armed criminals will still be armed to the teeth. I think the real problem is our society. They preach guns are bad to little kids, instead of guns are a tool, not a toy and guns will kill you if not used correctly.

It's about time most legislators get a real job, because they are just pulling sh!t out of their azz. It would be an absolute shame if a law like that was passed. It would make alot of people criminals who really aren't, including me. I would never destroy the ammo that I have, unless I'm pulling the trigger to do it. I just picked up 820 rounds of .223 and 1,000 rounds of 9mm last week, I only managed to "destroy" 200 of them at the range.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees togwotee or should I call you Tackleberry. You planning on a US invasion? Looks like a nice supply - I'm jealous.

I think Togwoberry has a nice ring to it. :D

US invasion, No I just don't like squirrels....
