I bought a Powderjack early last season. I used and abused it, more in the shop than in the snow. Anyways, I dinged up the pole real bad and also bent the center mechanism. Still worked though.

So I call the powderjack place and order a new pole. I mentioned in passing I had abused it and bent a part and she asked if I wanted to talk to somebody about a warranty replacement. I said no, I abused it and its my fault.

So the package arrived and AT NO COST they included the pice I mangled in with the pole

AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!!!!

I will be buying a second powderjack for the girlfriends sled from these people. Who cares if one jack is heavier duty with support like that?

I know a guy that is on his THIRD powderjack..he keeps breaking them...they send him a new one.:face-icon-small-con

Only part that sucks is when they leave you busted and broken out on the mountain when you need the thing.

Now my other buddy is on his third season on his high jacker....can't seem to break the thing not matter what he does to it????

Guess he may never know what kinda of customer service they offer.

Good point Diz, why invest in cust serivce when you don't need it because your product is rock solid. What a novel idea....

PJ had it right the first time with the direct knockoff. why he changed it I don't know, but the new jack he sells is way to lightweight and I wouldn't touch it. My original knockoff is on it's third season and has seen some heavy use. No, it's not as sturdy as Harmon's but pretty close and was reasonably priced. imo

and Dizz, for a guy who's never put a dime in BH's pocket I can't understand why you support it so vehemently. If you had a jack I'd understand, but you don't....

Brandon will tell ya.....He brings 2 jacks on every ride with him:face-icon-small-hap In all this time I have never seen him even use a jack. :focus:

I will vouch for the excellent customer service of the PJ. I am however going on pole number 4. I may replace it with a solid 7075 pole like the Harmon jack uses and the old PJ's........or just buy the original. Saving a few bucks always ends up biting me in the azz:face-icon-small-con

SkiB has a funny picture now that you mention it. Maybe he will post it

Well, I don't own a jack. But PowderJack was gracious enough to donate one to us for the Forum Ride raffle. I'm pretty impressed by that.

He endorses Bill's jack because it means that he doesn't have to help me as much to get unstuck. There probably isn't a single day of riding that I don't use mine at least once. Yesterday I used it twice, once was helping a group getting a sled out of a creek.

WTF is he doing to them??????? I have beat mine unmercifully and have yet to actually break it. Anything is possible I guess.

I guarantee that I would destroy the powder jack using it the way I have used the highjacker. The hollow pole is simply not strong enough for heavy duty use and the softer aluminum gouges alot more than the alum that Bill uses.

You lift something heavier than an Apex Mountain and a Viper? :face-icon-small-win

Seriously if you have not used the powderjack I am not sure you can know what breaks it. It does scar the pole though I give ya that. Had to grind on mine before I got the replacement.

Besides me who has ACTUALLY broke one? Please no my cousins fathers uncle heard of one broke in Alaska stories.................

I broke a handle off and bent 3 poles. Lifting A 2007 rmk 600 155 track.

SkiB post the picture if you can find it.

Tudizzle was standing next to me when the handle broke and it whizzed past him when I got pissed and chucked it accross a meadow. He also stood there and watched SkiB take his jack ( original Harmon) off and lift my sled out.

I see broken PJ's on the hill all the time...yet to see someone break a highjacker?
