Did any one else spring check their kit and still haven't ridden it because of late shipment and missing parts and now even more issues.... I am at a loss for words after spending this much money. Any advice or people out there going through this too?:face-icon-small-fro

What kit Did you get. I snow checked a aro and had everything in October. Still haven't riden it due to no snow.

Been there, done that. More than once!

2nd time wasn't as bad, because I still the 1st one to ride.

Keep fighting until you get it going.

If it is a Timbersled kit, I sure hope you are alone. All spring check guys should have been shipped and installed before December 1st with no issues.

Check your Yeti's, My buddies was a heap....going through the same growing pains of switching organization as Timbersled did going to Polaris. Shaft alignments, hole drill placement in tunnel, orientation of tunnel cooler, check it all close, not the same quality we have come to expect out of Yeti....but they have been good about fixing it. Sent him another kit and he has been allowed to take 2 to make 1. still alot of extra work for those kind of dollars.

Check your kit.

Thanks for the feed back. I am going to go over the kit again taking a closer look for more possible issues as you suggested.

Yea, Its real nice for you guys to hush $hit down, But this is Camso were talking about not C3. If there is problems we need to be open about it so we can fix them before they cause more issues. As the owner of 2 2018 yetis I want to know what issues are!

I took a different rout--walked into the dealership to see what they had ready to go--gave them Cash --Took complete kit home and installed it done. If we all shop around order from the cheapest dealer Bla Bla Bla and than complain about not having any support -- well guess what.
That is just the way she goes.
I find way to manny guys riding that rollercoaster instead of supporting the local guys that can and will help you.
Keep your cash close to home it will come around in more than one way.

Not Saying that that was the case with you, just an observation that *)^^%%# me off.

A friend just did the same thing just cutting out the local guy for a few bucks. At the end it did cost him significantly more with wrong parts shipped back and forth and no one cares.
Neither should they. Some People only learn the hard way and some never learn at all.

Bought mine through local dealer, and they are helping me in every way, but none of the issues are their cause.

My buddy bought through local dealer as well and the dealer as well as Yeti have done everything they can do to make the deal right...so I'm not talking crap. Yeti is having a few growing pains as to be expected with a complete company reorganization, but they are making it right for him. I believe he had some sort of an issue with the rails on his as well. If you guys need me to get the full details let me know and I can call him and take notes but the way I have heard him tell it was essentially the new guys putting the kits together didn't really have a great grasp of what they were doing. His second kit was put together by Yeti's old lead builder. My friend had ordered his with the Koolaid orange rails etc. so he had to flip flop everything over. Yeti and his local dealer let him have 2 kits to make one and then return whats left. He is in Idaho and they had a late start this year so getting all the pieces together after Christmas was not a big deal.

Regardless of where you buy a Yeti kit or any kit for the kind of money we are shelling out the hope is that it works. As far as I can tell it seems all of these manufacturers are standing behind their kit.

Just saw one of the new SS yetis on the weekend -- Beautifull kit.
It was very warm and started raining on the way back to the truck. His drivers started to slip. The drivers are pretty much one right next to the other with no space between. The divers filled up with snow compressed to ice and would not allow the ruber knobs on the track to engage anymore.:face-icon-small-dis Never seen that before and for sure one thing no one ever thought about -- I sure did not.

I had first hand experience struggling to get Yeti parts at the beginning of the year(see my bitch session any Yeti buy out thread). I needed almost half a kit and 2 fit kits. Months of pissing around with Camso and my dealer struggling with them as well. I know this was not a case of the dealer following up as I was privy to all communications. Over 2 months in Camso asked that I work with a different dealer and we started the process over again and I recieved parts in about 3 weeks. I have since ordered more parts with acceptable delivery times. After talking with quite a few dealers and other Yeti owners it seems that either Camso is picking and choosing which dealers to give better support to or Camso has an extensive ordering process that some of the dealers are not following and creating delays. It is now looking much better than it was at the beginning of the season. Unfortunately, I don't believe we will ever see the level of service that Jamie and the boys at C3(old Yeti) offered but hopefully it remains acceptable. If trying to get parts in Canada primarily the Alberta region, give Ryan or Darryl at Argyll motorsports a call. Argyll has been under new ownership the last couple years and have really turned up the customer service level and seem to be able to make things happen with Camso.

Hopefully you can get your kit sorted out soon. That is frustrating for sure.

I had a very similar experience with receiving parts much quicker through a different dealer than I started out with.

Well, I got a chance to go over mine real well while I changed out the track to the new cmx track. Didnt find any issues what so ever. Everything seemed to be torqued real well also. My 16 kit was overtightened and hard to disassemble. I will be keeping an eye on everything though.

Had this problem on a 2009 rmk. Tight warm snow conditions and the drivers would load up with ice to the point that they would slip. Never had this problem on the pro ranks. Thought this was fixed but apparently not. Haven’t had my camso kit out enough to see if I’ll have the same problem but I sure hope not!
