Aluminum tunnel cleaner?

What is everyne using to clean thier tunnels? I have a 2012 pro rmk 155 and i live in the U.P. of Michigan where the roads get a lot of salt on them in the winter and my tunnel is tarnished from trailering it in an open trailer, might have it wrapped eventually or possibly get an enclosed trailer but for now i would like to get the tunnel back to a mirror finish, Thanks!

Stop off at a good truck stop... they will have all kinds of good stuff for that.... the Semi-Rig guys are always shining aluminum on their trucks... Now... If you want to polish it to a mirror shine... that is a whole diff story... and Dunatic outlined it very well in a great thread... I think over in General-forum.

I use White Diamond on mine, I ride the UP alot and open trailer from Mn and back. Got it off Amazon or Ebay

10 min each side by hand only 1 time application. Easy and quick

If you want to polish, plan on some serious work.

Stopped by our local card lock for fill up and they swear by this stuff.

I've seen their delivery trucks... and they use this stuff... tanks, weels and bumpers look very nice.

More of a hand applied product... not as "perfect" a machine buffing but certainly faster... The only way to get a perfect mirror is lots of elbow grease, a buffer, and different compounds.

Or this stuff as a one step product with more elbow-grease.

Wax it after you are finished.
