Ok all you metal experts, i was taking my chain case off last night and i was looking to see if i forgot a bolt witch i did but while i was under looking go figure my bone head friend grabs the biggest screw driver to try and pry it off and does this....should i be worried should i have it built off then file it down? Its just big enough that you do catch you're finger nail on it.

Smooth it off if cosmetic appearance is important to you. Same with any sort of filler. It is in a spot and shaped such that it will not create a stress riser. So other than the cosmetic appearance issue you are fine. If you smooth it off try to keep the abrasive scratches going lengthwise on the tunnel. Because if deep enough those in themselves can and will becomes stress risers on a highly stressed part, such as the PRO tunnel, especially there where they removed most of that side and are counting on the glue to the chain case / bearing backer plate to tie it all together. Hope you find this helpful

Thanks guys. What is the best way to get the glue off? I have taken a putty knife to it and got most of it but now it needs fine tuned. Will a Scotch bright pad but the way to go?

Just use a flapper wheel on the end of a drill or use scotch brite pads on the end of a drill. It comes off fairly easy.
