Already broke 2013 CF rear bumper!

All I did was barely back into the wife's stand holding her ski doo off its track. just backing the new sled in the trailer. :face-icon-small-fro Wasn't hardly a hit even and snapped the rear bumper in half. LOL I just order the aluminum replacement from Holz. I should have bought two and put one on my 2012 too I suppose.

The bumpers are posers. Not only the tubes but the whole mounting bracket is bogus. Team Polaro needs to look at the Yellow competition to see what a real bumper looks like. My 600 RMK suffered a bent mounting bracket and was sent packing for an IQ type. A sore subject with me.. 550iq.

Crazy, first your blue panels and now the bumper!

I've never had any issues with my 2011 rear bumper but I know others have. There are several options out there to replace it though.

I trenched in some hard snow on my 2012. The snowflap bent up and the pointy part of it broke my bumper! Definitely wasn't impressed. I bought the replacement aluminum tube from SLP. Only 30 bucks and it looks great. Super strong too!

I towed a 2012 cat out with a broken chaincase with it and was suprised to see it hold up after all the stories. Just wrapped it decently to spread out the load and no issue...

Why did they make that bumper so smooth/slippery? Have you ever tried to grab it with snow on the bumper or on your gloves? They wouldn't make hand grips like that!

I towed my brother's blown up dragon(weird) last season 15 miles on a rough a** trail back to the truck with no problems. Never had an issue with my '11 Pro either. Crazy how different people's experiences are with these things.

They are slippery as sh!t for sure. A little grip tape goes a long way.

I used the Holz piece all last season, it's a good choice.
I refer to it as my Mag Lite rear bumper:face-icon-small-ton

The textured aluminum does build up a little snow but it's worth it to be able to brush it off and actually get a grip on the rear bumper when you need to.

I REALLY think it's a bad idea to ride the sled without a solid rear bumper in place. The rear of these sleds flex a lot and the sheet aluminum and cooler cross member underneath are not going to hold up to much without a solid rear bumper to stiffen it up a bit. If your CF is cracked get something solid in there pronto.

I took the stocker off and use it to open my garage fridge door....installed a skinz bumper. Tough!! Got hit from behind by a skidoo, broke his front one, barely a scratch on mine.:face-icon-small-ton

I pulled a Dragon and a Ski-Doo and had no problems. But I didn't use the bumper from fear it would break. I pull from the back of the running board bar.
