steep and deep turbo country
Coming to Alpine the 26-31st. The web cams dont show much snow in town. How is it up top? Worth the 14 hour trip? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!
It's slowly filling in down low,,,,, up high the riding is good and getting better. Snowman is calling for some snow for the next 7 days.

out 12/14/07, maybe 15" at Box Y, 20" on top, no off trail riding, up high the snow is not good.

Went out today.
Rode thru Bull Hollow over into McCain meadows. No snow up high, can't leave the trail. Saw a whole bunch of Elk, that tells you how little snow is up there.

Rode with troy from tj's sports for a little while on saturday it was still pretty thin but found some pockets to play in and one hill that did not have any rocks.

With the snow that has fallen the last day, and what is still to come out of these storms, please be careful. Three slides came down in Willow on Saturday, nobody was buried but one guy got hit pretty good but surfaced as the slide stopped. All three broke to the ground. The snow layer is weak, so don't be stupid. I wanted to challenge my senses Sunday but couldn't justify the risk.

I gots Info. My dad just got there today, he said theres 3-4 feet in town, and tomorrow is suposed to be a big storm all day. so if I were you i would make the trip. heading up Friday.
