Alpine WY SnoX races

Tell Corby, hmm snowest handle builtchevtuff, tell him we are stting up a 801 circut with hot dogs and trophies, bro ya gotta come check out my uncles place! He will love it!

What a wknd!!! Corbin had trouble today with his teather coming un-hooked and finished 8th in the final. I was told I needed to move the location of it so it wouldn't get snagged so easy. I sprinted accross the infield to get him going cuz the track helper there was shooten the breeze and not watching. I was frustrated to say the least! He was in 4th place on the second lap of 3 when it happened. Awsome hole shot and him holding to the bar!!!

There are more races in WY next wknd and in West Yellowstone March 12-14. So my next 2 wknds are racing wknds!! This stuff is very addicting! I could stand to make Corbins sled a little faster. I learned a ton about these sleds this wknd:)

That sounds like a blast. I can't believe the gap between 6-12 (120 class) and the 10-13 (up to 600 class). Seems like they should have an 8-12 (440 class) to fill the gap.

Ron they do. It's 8-12 I think and it's the skidoo 300 freestyle. From what I hear they are nice little sleds that not much can be done performance wise so it's more on ability. They don't make the freestyle anymore but the guys told me you can find them brand new in the crate or used for around $2500. One guy told me they aren't that bad of a mtn sled for the kids either. He went to the fairview shootout last year and said
his kid dis awsome on it

I've seen those. There's a little girl that rides one at our cabin area. They're weird looking. Too bad they stopped making them beings that's the only sled they let them use in the class you mentioned. I've been eye balling a cheap 07 Phazer FX for my boy. He needs something more mountain worthy.
Wish there was a racing circuit closer to home.:face-icon-small-sad

Funny thing I thought I drove for ever...Come to find out my 4 hour drive was NOTHING compaired to most of the others

someone wanna post a cpl pics for me???:)

Very cool for sure. I love riding with our son.

Thanks Kimi! I might be looken for some pit crew help this weekend in Bonderant, WY. Just 30 miles from Alpine. Wife doesnt sound like she wants to go but I do.

HEY SAL! Hows that 801 cirquit coming???

You know we could do it! There are enough dads on here with kids who ride, mine are older but would love to "stage" a race for the little ones. We went to Henefer again on Sat we were the only ones there, my boy is starting to switch running boards and trying hard to carve. I have a bunch os orange cones I use for work we could go set up a track pretty easy? Anytime bro lets make it happen.

Here's a shot of my son last Sunday. He's really good at hopping side to side. I think he's seen his fair share of Sled Movies and ridden with us a lot.

Only problem is he wishes he weighed more than 50 lbs.
He's has one hand on the throttle and one on the seat trying to correct this turn. LMAO Eventually the sled won.

I want to say it has a dry weight of 399 lbs. but not positive.
So easy for me to lift and toss it around.
Our 6 and 8 yr. old pulled it back on the trail once by themselves.

Great kid sled Blakey, thats what my boy is on. 400lbs seems right. They are getting real hard to find now? And there are 3 different models and most of the front end parts do not interchange. But they rip!

Anyone wanna go with me and Corbin to pinedale for another race sat? Leave Friday 2ish be home sat 6 or 7. I will just get a 2 bed room and me an Corbin will sleep in one! Let me know:). I co-crew cheif doesn't wanna go:(
