This was a best/worst/best ride of the year;):beer;

We pull into the parking lot and CC Powders sled eats the fuel controller box, thought he was down for the day, handed CC the BBQ goods and chefs hat while the men play…so me a Travis look for some pow, and holly hell was is deep and dry with a sweet base:D:D:D:D. Rode for an hour or so and headed back to the trailer to see what Chef CC was cooking. Well he hooked up with the additude dude and got a new fuel controller…so now its on! We head out and have one of the best rides all year…until we reach an unknown ridge and stop to talk about dropping down. First Corey says “im not sure whats down there” with a clueless facial expression. This would suggest we are not dropping down, well we did and that’s when the day started to suck big time!!!!

The area was staight down into a stream with nothing remotely flat, we all crawled down slow as possible and looked at each other in terror…but it doable until CC rubbed his left side on a tree stump, both a-arms and the shock got “twisted”…pun intended. So there we sit on a clif with no way out and CC has his left ski touching the right ski, not good! Took the better part over an hour to get up to fire road that was only 100’ away…then the party starts as CC could not get 40’ without folding the left ski under and doing a superman over the bars, never laughed so hard in my life, he did another dozen or so supermans. I rode around for a bit to look for an escape while CC looks for a brach to secure to both skis to keep her straight…well me finally found a way out after two hours of so, rode a never narrow ridge that would scare most folks, and CC rode that ridge with ease…freakin stud! We finally get back to the rode about 6ish? And then the tree brach breaks, so we leave it and ride two-up tom the truck, drink a beer, thank god we made it back

I will post some pics tomorrow, no damage pics, too whooped from pulling skis over 50 ****in times!!!!!:face-icon-small-dis

All in all, we made it out because CC can ride like no other! :eek:

Freak - i pointed at you while i was on my rev and you looked back to see who i was pointing at...dork! no time to stop and watch the white out bunny hill races...thars freash pow in them thar hills!!!!!:cool::beer;

hatchers i had a lot of people motion to me today, i was a bit preoccupied early on when I was trying to make the trex go. I also dont recognize you on a rev either as you might imagine.

Glad you guys made it out okay. We were loading up the sleds to come look for you guys, that was my dad that came up and gave you the pipe in the parking lot.

Travis' wife was calling out the calvary. She's part native American and when she calls and says "I have a bad feeling about this Dan", we have all learned to listen.

I was gassed and 5 minutes from pulling out when the call came that you guys were back to the trucks. Glad the rodeo wasn't worse.

What are you talking about, thats a race front end!! I came prepared for the big race!! :D The picture is a pipe we got from a friend up there, I am still amazed the tree I used made it, went up some pretty nasty stuff. Tree broke 100' from the road. The best part was the 500' turning radius!! LOL Ever try riding a sled up a 20' wide ridgeline in 3' of pow and only be able to go straight??
