Almost had enough of my M7!!!!!

Just be careful.

Only a few #s at a time

Don't be afraid to trim, I believe my mag always ran hotter on mine

RKT says you can run the stock fuel map on his 800 kit, so I wouldn't think you would need too much added fuel

Awesomewell at least I have a plan to try something, before I was just going in circles trying to figure it out. Is your setup pretty failsafe as in a chick can get on it and cruise down the trail and not have to worry about burning it down?? I wanna be able to have it so anyone regarding experience and knowledge can ride it and I don't have to worry about the egt's.

i've had similar problems with the BOX

When you're out on the trail and its acting up, stop, unplug the box at the injectors and plug in you original stock connections, careful don't abuse it, but you may find you problems go away. With your mods the stock map is not that far off. Runs ok..........get box updated or new box, or some more appropriate numbers for the boondogle box.

X2 with catsledman

Had a BD box fog (water inside) up and kill a sled this week. When we unplugged the box and tested with the stock system only, it appears to be back to good.
Of course there a lot of variables, but using the factory map to check the injection is the place to start.

M7 Problem

If you are still dealing with this erratic behavior, check your EGT wiring. The M7 ECU is very particular and I had a similar problem running digitron EGT's and could not figure out what was wrong with it, even took it to the dealer and they could not fix it. The power for your EGT's should be hooked up before your voltage regulator at the lighting coil. On older sleds it worked fine hooked up to DC voltage at the accessory plug but like I said the 05 M7's were very particular.

I would phone Brent Linderman at Arctic Edge, 1-403-564-4673, he will be able to give you some good starting #s for your boondocker box.

Just to let you know, I put egts on my stock 09 m1000 to get some readings before I put the slp on and at about 6100rpm I've seen 1243 on the egt. and a hard wot pull its a little above 1150. this is stock with a AC warranty your numbers are to low and need to be over the 1100 range at least. Most mods I've seen wind up taking away fuel with a bd in the 5-6000rpm range. yours needs fuel removed in the low and mid settings around this rpm range.

Got her fixed!!! Been messing around with the BD box and in the end all I did was pull fuel away all across the rpm range back to the original Speedwerx #'s and she rips. Thanx everyone for their input.
