...would THIS be the BADDEST chute ever slain on film?

...and it hasnt even been attempted. Up until the last few months, I dont think its ever really been seriously DISCUSSED! Talked to a rider at the Salt Lake sled show who claims hes gonna give a shot if he gets the chance this season! My .02 ... it would be THE BADDEST CHUTE climb.... E-V-E-R!

Its a lot wider than I was expecting it to be, that would be pretty cool. I think the hardest part of it would be trying to keep it in a straight line the whole way. haha

I've seen pic's of this chute before, mid winter and springtime. Springtime exposes a rock that looks like it spands the entire chute about 15/16ths of the way up :face-icon-small-sho . I'd hate to make the climb to that point only to be rejected at the end, good luck. Keep it straight on the way down! :scared:

This thing is not a straight pull...difficult to get to...the approach is pretty gnarly before you get to the climb and a lot of tight off camber boondocking to get to it... Burrandt mixed with Davidoff or Swenson.

WORTH IT FOR THE RIGHT SKILL SET...

You'll be pizzing off some hippies with a 3 foot deep trench though.

Phatty???

Oberti???

been at the bottom of that chute, two problems, getting to it... and the top, well there really isnt one just kinda goes right back down the other side!!! Hellicopter probably a good investment to have there!

Looks fun though!!!

.....man, that sure makes a sharp point at the top before bombing off the other side....hmmmmm. I have seen it many times in person....it is pretty awesome!

Yea... at 4:05 you can see that... plus If you launch off the backside you have an off camber left-decay into another down hill ....

At 6:50 - 7:00 you can see another tricky section that is more than you would think it is.

One sled up would pretty much pooch it out for follow up stabs at the chute too...

SKILLZ... BIG CAHONES... AND MORE SKILL PLUS A DEAD RELIABLE AND MANEUVERABLE SLED...plus 2000' of rope.!!

Looks like tough access into that thing! Probably need a chopper to drop a sled into the bottom too. I'd put money on Corey Micku...

The pics are all taken from PAVED roadway! Would have to cross the river and get through the trash (boulders, willows, trees...) before you could start to get up the hill on the other side. Thats gonna be the one issue this year... need lotsa snow down low.:rain: If we get that... I think its gonna get tried! Figured i'd start this thread to get some HYPE built:cheer2:...

I give those skiiers LOTS of credit though... lived here for 25 years and the thought of hiking up that thing NEVER CROSSED MY MIND! Gonna do it this year and get a SERIOUS scouting report...
