All I want is a MonoSuit, a Tobe . . .

. . . either their top-of-the-range $999 suit or the Tiro $599 in Ink Black with the yellow accents.

Even still, for all my years of snowmobiling and then a year of snowbiking and snowmobiling, and never being cold or bombarded with snow, to drop $600 or so on a monosuit is frivilous, for now. I want one so bad but don't need one, yet.

I have also considered CKX's monosuit as they only make one.

HMK makes one I like and Klim also has the Lochsa which I like too, just $899 for the Klim.

I prefer them NOT gaudy like most of the FXR's. FXR's can look good but man, the vast majority are still WAYYYYY too flashy for me. It is nice to dream-online though.

It took me two years to wear out a pair of Klim havoc snowbiking.. My tobe mono suit lasted about two days. They are built for sledding.

I had a chat with my wife just not long ago and I had come to the realization that for the past 20 years or so, the gear that I've been using has been working flawlessly. I'm never cold, or wet, or too hot, and nothing melts/burns, gets damaged on either the snowmobile or the snowbike.

I don't need to spend a cent when I got the stuff that already works and more than enough of it.

I will tell my wife to NOT get me a monosuit or any sort of outerwear as I already have all I need. It is always nice to dream online.

I like my Klim Lochsa a lot 2 seasons perfect all I wear .

Black with orange zippers simple effective.

It is relatively soft and flexible easy for movement

Nothing bad to say about it , fits me at 6'2 better than any other moonsuit.

Make sure any of them are plenty big with internal suspenders.

I picked up the Rex in navy/orange this year, I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces.

needpowder - what failed on your ToBe and what model did you have?

I got a used tobe snowmobile monosuit for $500 off kijiji. normally like $1100+ CAD.

I love it. its amazing. its my favorite piece of gear. worth every penny. 65 hours on it, probably 20+ rides and its been amazing right up to -30.

I do get a wet ass but thats about the only complaint. some days its WAY too warm though (or I overdressed).

seriously, theyre amazing. pants and a jacket seems like a joke after being in a mono suit. I feel bad for those guys. get one!!!!!! I imagine the new ones, and snowbike specific are even better. little too much cash for me though. my 2016 sled model is just fine.

The monosuit for winter power sports is pretty awesome....I would't go back after having one the last 2 years.

Don’t remember the model, but it was top-of-the-line Tobe about five years ago. Just tore her on every tree I hit I feel like. Plus, wet butt on a snow bike. Worked pretty well on the sled though with a few minor tears.
I would love to get another if they can make one that stands up to snow biking.

They do? it's called the Tobe velox. Designed specific for snowbiking. Just got mine and looks well thought out and tough in the right areas. Ars is reinforced a ton to get rid of the soggy butt, leather ect. Like it much more than my klim havocs. Havocs are built tough but are horrible for movement and overall comfort. I will give a report on how they hold up but I'm confident they will survive well.

For snowbiking don't bother getting any suits that aren't designed specific for biking. Even the best sledding gear will leave you with a wet ars. It simply isn't designed to take the friction of the Moto seat and the constant sit down shuffling. Kinda stuck with Klim havocs, Tobe velox, motorfist rebels and fly's snowbike bib.

Scotts makes some monosuits that are cheap enough to replace every few years. It cured my soggy butt problem. I have one year in it, and I expect to get a couple more at least before I wear it out. I like the Tobe suits, but the Scott gear can be bought three time over for the price.
