Why is mountain gear so black?

Just go buy some cold weather hunting camo in blaze orange. Cheap, warm and very high-viz!
Or vintage 'Arctic Cat', very high viz and stylish.
bright colors are offered by some, i would like to try the powercross pullover in orange

i do like the hmk styles offered they are different, i even went and looked at them in person. looks good
the blue and the orange are loud enough to grab an eye too

i just got a pair of hmk pro boa focus in white orange if they are anything like my old proboas ill love em.
if i had the extra cash id try the tobe suit, im just used to coveralls i wear them 90% of the day. a one piece you can move around more freely i imagine. the cost is realitive, many complaints about 550$ but a nice jacket and pants is 6-700 on the short end.
they do look funny but: easier moving, lighter, cheaper, more visible, no snow up your back, --- but if you damage it its all toast maby
i dont practice santeria, i aint got no crystal ball, but if i had a million dollars, id spend it all... on gear and parts to lend some actual facts!

I didn´t know something that is called "camo" would be available in orange.
All jokes aside.
I guess then, being visible isn´t a big factor in the backcountry? not even in bad visibility.
What to you relay on if lost "spot" transponder?
In Iceland we have rescue crews that go in every kind of weather looking or assisting people in trouble in the mountains. I bet they like it more when people where something the stands out from the environment. Not just something that blends in with rocks or trees.
If blacks the color to have and styling is no factor. Isn´t the TOBE 2.0 one-piece suit in black the gear to have? specially in the powder
