Alex turbo track and BOV?

I recently picked up an 07 apex with the MC XPRESS turbo and CR tunnel. It has an EZ RYDE rear skid and the stock track. The track is less than desirable! I'm going to put a new one on but not sure which is a better way to go, 162X16/2.5" or 162X16/3"? The 2.5 Goes in no problems but the 3 would require going to smaller drivers. Is it better to go 2.5 and let the track speed fly or go 3 and allow for some loss of speed by putting in the smaller drivers? Either way I jus want the best bang for my buck, I realize the 3" is gonna cost a bit more but I don't want to do something and regret it later.
Also it's mapped for 310hp but it's still the 16T turbo. I tried a pull at 18lbs and the BOV popped off and dumped the boost. Should I just change the spring in the stock BOV or block it off and put on a better one? And if so which one? Hoping to run 18-20 lbs as it has low comp pistons and upgraded rods but is that a reasonable expectation or should I also send the turbo to Alamo in Calgary and have it upgraded to a 19T?
Sorry for the long post but these are what I'm looking at getting done before the snow flys and I want to make sure and do it right. Thanks in advance!

I am running a MCX 310 on my 06 Apex.I am still running it with the 16t,have been told that there isn't much difference between the two and that you would have to send in your MCX box to be reprogrammed.I did buy a new spring for my BOV from a member here on SnoWest with the user name Thistledoo,he also has made and sells the copper donuts for your exhaust as the stock donuts wear out real fast and create leaks that makes you loose boost,I and many here on site recommend those for sure.

I put on the CE 174 2.5 a couple of years ago and that track works real good.
I do believe you have to get a extended chaincase or at the very least a drop and roll to fit the 3" track.

I wish it would be easier to put on the 3" as I have this on a boosted M1000 and I really like the way it hooks up.I am just going to leave this sled the way it is now as it is a fun sled the way it is.
You are going to love that machine especially when the snow is nipples deep! LOL

I did a drop and roll and 174X3" on my apex and it hooks up like no other. The front end is a LOT heavier feeling now though. I ride lots of trees and it gets tiring fast. 2.5" might be better if you do much technical riding.

I read very professional advise here, i agree with everything.
1. Cu donuts - Thistledoo, OFT Racing sell them.
2. Softer spring in bov - Thistledoo.
3. No need to upgrade to 19T, if the 16T is fresh, and you don't run @ really high altitude and need the higher airflow from the 19T.
