Albany Snow

How is the snow out of Albany? Thanks

It's not as good as last year but you can find it. The trail going up the mountain from Albany(Q) has some rough spots. We were there last Saturday. We went up the trails and shot back into the meadows and trees and found some nice powder to whomp around in. It seemed like the higher, the better. We went north on"T" up to the peak which is always a beautiful ride. We stopped in half a dozen meadows and had a great time. It was really windy and Libby Flats was a white out at times but we found some fun stuff. Good luck and be safe.

Pretty much what rockdog said.
We rode today. Not much in the way of deep fluffy, even in the trees.
They do need more snow.
There is plenty to ride, you just won't find the over the hood kind of snow right now.
All the wind has done a number on the meadows.

Rode French Creek yesterday and didnt see a person all day. Snow is setting up on the south side of the hills but we found a pretty consistint level of snow in the trees. We were able to carve quite a bit. Any trails from past riders had been covered by about 4". Climbs were pretty easy and vis was the best. Could have ridden without a jacket.
