This sled is almost done just waiting for big Curt to get me some more pictures, He said the 43" Z-bro front end is on and the turbo system is in,tunnel is done and skid is in, I think he is waiting on the carbon hood and body wrap.:rolleyes:

I think that wrap needs to say ALASKA MOUNTAIN KING on it...:D

Man this guy dose some awsome work, I can't wait to go down and see this thing.:eek:

So Johnny, are you ready for some snow yet? Good luck keeping Dougy off of this thing. That's ok, Melissa soesn't know it yet, but come May I'm sure he will own it!! :D:beer;

Why did you go with an Aero over a Garret? Nice build, I like the air to water intercooler! Should be a clean ride when they get done.

It is a variable vain, ceramic ball bearing turbo that does flow somewhere in the neighborhood of 200cfm more than a 53 series, that will help the top end quite a bit! Fast spool up + big compressor= lots of FUN!

We like the Aero's for all around riding day in/ day out. I know a lot of builders have tried them and had issues but we're convinced now that they were missing the boat on their builds to save money. You have got to feed these turbo's lots of cold air-its what they rely on to cool themselves and stay alive...IMO thats where some of the failures from other Aerocharger users came from.You can't pull hot air from under the hood and expect Aero's to live....won't happen.We will only build these one way...cold air intake and liquid intercooler. Done correctly these babies are VERY responsive, reliable and the plumbing is sooooo simple and clean...not a bunch of external mess to deal with...I think even Johnny will be able to maintain it!!(kidding John, calm down)
The intercooling is 100% effective even at near zero ground speeds...as long as the tracks turning, its intercooling so we don't run into the heat soaking issues running the deep heavy snow in the trees. Reed life is a non issue with cold air in and this intercooler keeping the inlet temps in check(excessive inlet temps=cooked reeds!)
We build these sleds for every day riders who like the tight+deep as well as the big open climbs....an everyday anywhere play turbo if you will. If you are looking for boost over 15-16psi, thats where an Aero gets out of its efficiency range IMO-you'd be better off with an automotive turbo at that point for sure. We run the Aero's anywhere from 8-14 psi with great results and minimal upkeep all season long. Mr. Hart has done his homework and R&D very well and given us a turbo for the masses...props to Shane for delivering what most of our customers have been looking for.
