So I was doing some cosmetic surgery on the ole 9 last week and discovered a pigtail with 2 wires ( headed up in hte fron Bumper) with no apparent connection to anything, seems to me I noticed this last year but other problems were bigger, so I just stuffed them back where they came from.

Its the air Temp sensor.

So since its little end has been broke off all this time, whats gonna happen when I put a new one on ?

What issues does this cause ?

which air temp sensor? the one for the intake? or the one that tells you how cold it is outside on you MFD? If it is the second then nothing is going to happen but you will know how cold it is outside. If it is the first, you sled is going to run better and probably get better mileage.

^^exactly..lol.

if its the one that goes in the Boost box, you would have had a check engine light or it was running pig rich ;)

if its the one with a small resistor in it, thats the one im referring to

Its the one with the Small resistor

It was glued to the front bumper, the one in the Air box is OK.

So this thing is just to tell me its cold outside ??????

And I ordered one ----------

Now you just need the altimeter and you will know how cold it is and how high you are...lol:face-icon-small-ton

Muff Pot Oven Alarm

Well the Altimeter has always worked, now I can tell when the Buritos are done,

No that would be the clock and engine temp combo----:face-icon-small-coo

Sled runs great.
