Air Force Velocity Stack

We sell them and we've tried a few on KTM 450's & 500's. They do what he says they do. Seat of the pants dyno on an otherwise stock 2019 450XC-F and you can tell because you can definitely hold gears longer. Bikes run perfect, no icing issues just bolt on and go, easiest mod ever. Fuel mapping is not required for just adding an intake but obviously the sky is the limit if you want to take it next step, pipe, ecu, piston, head, nitrous etc... I did bump up the TPS on the 2019 a couple points from .595 to .611 but I didn't "need" to as it ran perfectly fine at both settings, no bogs or popping. On a new build you basically need an intake so it's a no-brainer. If you already have an aftermarket intake then you just need to decide if you want to pay up. Worst case scenario, even if you only get an extra 2hp on an otherwise stock bike, that's $200/hp, I've spent worse money on mods many times.

I really don’t think the worst case scenario is an extra 2 hp. Sounds like the best case scenario to me. I also doubt your “seat of the pants” is feeling that. You lost me after your first three words in your post.

I have tested them on the dyno...and so-far...they outperform any snow-bike intake I have tested to date...they also outperform the stock 450sx intake on my ktm 550 by about 2.3 hp.
Have you tested the CMX or Selkirk intakes that also use a velocity stack design?

I spoke with Ryan and he is really comparing and building stacks under controlled methods, Don't start the typical BS trying to discredit his work just so ewe feel like a man, He is actually saying he has identity's failures in some of his stacks and has continually refining it, Stock airboxs are partially designed to meet DB requirements and fitment , HP gains are a real possibility. I will be trying his product , He,s trying to enhance performance and Dyno runs tell the story when comparing products. Take the time to follow his work its quite impressive.

I cant understand why he made the new intake 42MM. He sent me One 2 weeks ago. I wont be able to give it a fair test because I already took a Dremel to it. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks. Ill be able to have some type of comparison of Stock vs Velocity vs New velocity on a Mod bike.

2021.5 KTM 450FE Ported. 50mm RP race throttle Body, DCR snowbike Cam, LLoyd's Performance Porting, Full FMF pipe and a Get Athena ECU. Had to do some mods to the intakes to make them fit.

I Hope he makes a 44mm with a real velocity stack like the new one he just did.

He needs to make a Straight one 44mm. but with the new softer material of that 42mm bend one, with the Inner diamater shaping of the new one aswell. If he does that I bet it would be 330 CFM.

Ryan is a stand up guy. I have been working with him over the last couple of months on an optimal intake for my 550 on the dyno.
His research is legit!

Did I catch correctly on one of his YouTube videos that the new Beta stack works better on the KTM 450 then the current stack for the KTM ?
If I have a 450sxf Does that mean i should purchase that one designated for the Beta on his website ?

Ryan said they will have new dyno results on a new stack hes working on soon. I am getting Ryans suggested stacks after that, We should be grateful for his work , His Detail and commitment is something that's never been done at this level.

Who is this ewe you keep referring to in all of your posts?

The new Stack fits great on the 450SX., Throttle response is very strong, Will run side by side with older intake when snow is deeper.

I’d be curious to know the difference between the two. I went ahead and ordered the current airforce stack offering for the SX. Taking off the C3 one I have on my 450sx to try the velocity stack.

We had a chance to run the intake on a KTM factory 450 / stock exhaust, The bike immediately fell on its face , Why? It was flowing far more air and required a change adding a tad fuel off the bottom to the C3 ECU., This tells me it is flowing air, It ran fantastic pulling more RPM after installing. We will run it on a factory 450 with RP exhaust Tuesday as well .

I’d be curious what your new fuel trim setting on the C3 ECU are with the Air Force stack as I also have a C3 Vortex and an airforce stack. Also, which one of the 10 maps are you running? I’m running map 3 “optimized fuel map with stock or aftermarket exhaust and C3 intake”.

Day two with the new stack on a 2020 sx450 w/137SS kit shop bike , RP full exhaust system , C3 ECU. Ran incredibly strong pulled another gear most the day , A definite performance gain , Again needed to add juan click to the low fueling as it had a slight lean bog off the bottom which tells me its flowing more air, Ran flawless all day in very deep fresh .
