Air Box?

I was wondering should I gut my air box on my 2008 RMK 600 HO carbed sled? It will make it easier for removing it and reinstalling it when I have to rejet. Will the sled run leaner as well?

yes to all the above. much easier to install airbox with it gutted. runs leaner. I have done this to 4 sleds, 2 identical to yours...very nice to be able to stick your whole hand in the airbox for installation

I don't know about the carbed sled but on the EFI sled, you want to leave them in there.

Dyno proven to lose power by gutting them.
