Aftremarket can for 07 rev 800

I have a buddy who is looking for a can for his 07 800-r motor? I told him to check on a Thing, or HPS any body know which one works the best? I thought Al made cans mostly for revs in the begining but I am not positive. He's not looking to gain HP as much as weight. From what I seen the sealth can does a good job.

i have an mbrp on my 07 800r you lose about 10 pounds and gain about 2 hp.

The 07's have an internal stinger in the pipe so just like the 08's an mbrp on an 07 or 08 is nowhere near as loud as the other previous year sleds. My hps can on my 05 600 is twice as loud as my hps on my 08 XP

Check out Precision in Idaho Falls, also known around here as Cutler.
I put one on my XRS this year and I like it, nice sound (for an R motor) and good fit and finish.

HPS on my 07.....nice deep rumble at idle and light throttle, just a little louder than stock, with a nice wail on the high end. Great if you want more bark and light weight, not loud enough if you want to be obnoxious. I wouldn't want much louder and it looks like a quality built piece.

my hps cans have worked great. Without dynoing it I can't say that I gained or lost any power I would say that it works about the same as the stock can except you lose the weight and it sounds good

have an HPS on my 06. Lost the motor twice. Dealer blamed in on the can causing heat to back up...dont know if I buy it though,

Turboal builds a Thing just for that sled--so the answer is yes. They work awesome and personally like the Stealth Thing best.

I have the "loud" THING and it's actually nice on the ears.....likely due to the internal stinger in the pipe.

I put the "Thing" on my 07 800r and love it. My buddies 07 came with the hps can...and let me put it to you this way...he was trying to sell his hps can to a third friend with an 07 to buy a thing. Not that there is anything wrong with the hps, just a little too close to stock for his taste. You can't go wrong with either.

i have had good luck with my dynoport so far. it sounds a little over stock and loses some weight. cant really tell a hp difference just throttle response.
