Aftermarket heater elements fix CEL

I already swapped out handle bars and couldn't salvage the stock elements. Now I have a continuous CEL for the open circuit. I don't really care about the heaters but would buy after market heater elements (like RSI) if they will end the CEL. Anybody know if they will?

i just swapped to pro tapers and aftermarket warmers and no more codes........make sure you get thin grips though, my atv ones barely get warm
