Aftermarket Head?

does anyone know compression ratio on the 012 Assaults?I read somewhere the 011 was 9.4,then someone on here said 12.3 so what is it?Doesn't sound right but that's what i saw...I have an 012 Assault and was thinking about putting an aftermarket head on it, saw there was 12.5 and 13.1...I talked and heard now from a few ppl that there compression is around 115-118psi and if i went to the 13.1 it would bring it up to that 130-140...On that note if i did wanna go with the higher compression head would i need a fuel programmer?
 
2010 to 2012 800's 11.6 to 1, 09 13.1 to 1, 08 13.6 to 1. SLP head 5000+ 12.6 to 1, 5000+ w/race fuel 13.2 to 1. Power add. 13.6 to 1 Says no race fuel needed. RTK 14.1 to 1. Compression? who the heck knows? What elevation? What guage used? I would like to put a PA head on but a little nervous. SLP says use race fuel, others says not needed. I want the power, but want NO ISSUES. What's the general consenses on head and safety? Worth the money? PA head states about the same hp as a SLP pipe. But much cheaper. Please weight in.

i put a power addiction head on 13.6 to 1 and i have had det problems on my sled but runns much stronger than before so i would recomend 13.0 to 1 and i think there would be less det issues or run some race gas.

What elevations and fuel were you running when the deto had popped up?
