I recently had a magical mishap that resulted in a bent A-arm. Talking with my dealer this seems to be a common occurance. This is my first, should I expect to fold quite a few more? The reason I ask is because I have never bent one before and don't recall hitting anything. Didn't even notice until we were on the trail back to the truck.
So, do I replace the stock one or go with a Timbersled or other front end. I know you want the A-arm to go before damaging the bulkhead, but are the Timbersled units stronger? I'm looking for reliability so I won't need to start carrying an entire sled or spare parts along. Lol
Anyone out there using the Timbersled front that could give some feedback? Granted I could replace quite a few stock A-arms before it ads up to the cost of the Timbersled, but like I said I could use a little more piece of mind.
What do you guys think?
