aftermarket belt drive?

How well do the c3 beltdrive sytem hold up? Anyone that have had problems with the stock sytem, had the problem go away with aftermarket beltdrive's?

this year I've started doing decent jumps, and know for sure the stock wont hold. Guess its not the jumping but the WOT landings that takes the belt. So should i go with chain? or is the c3 strong enough?
 
I have been running the C3 belt drive on my 2011 pro and am very happy so far. Nice clean install and trouble free so far, spare belt is only 80 buck and no special tools required to change it. Just a win win IMO
 
if you have a chain drive sled, keep it that way. I had a c3 and went back to the chain. I snapped two belts in half, and it wasn't doing wot landings, just wickin it over little bumps to get the front end up. The second time I went over the handlebars. Maybe it was to loose/tight or maybe it was a little ice got in it I dunno. but it isnt worth the hassle. when you blow a belt and you gotta pack around more weight in tools then the belt drives weight savings and cold barely tell the difference in performance. IMO and if you blow a belt your days done cause if you blow your spare then your screwed. IMO the reliability sacrificed isn't worth the gain never mind the 900 bucks. If you got the QD then might be an option. IMO I would never buy a pro just because of that damn belt. Id buy an rmk or assault. my 2 cents
 
On the second season with the C3 and no problems so far,, beating the sh# out of it!and I have the wimpy blue belt!
 
500 miles this season with the C3 on my 11 and no problems whatsoever. Several 13's in my group and they are still blowing belts. To be honest though they have not switched to the 14 belt yet. The turbo is killing stock belts, he is going to add a tensioner.
