After plugging exhaust valve.....

After i plugged the exhaust valve i just looped the "t" and the hose that connects to the solenoid back onto itself and zip tied it. Is that the way to do it or is there a better method, or do i take it off the solenoid all together???? Thanks for any advise!!

I pulled all my hoses off.

Just be sure to leave the solenoid attached to the ECU. The way you plugged yours I would just get rid of the hose running to the solenoid.

Thanks Monte!! I am not sure about the differences yet, heading out this weekend. I'll let you know what my opinion is on this theory for sure.

I also followed Montes great advise, I did also change my springs like he did I have have also noticed a low end power increase.

I believe it will go into limp mode or trigger a code. Not sure to be honest. I never tried it personally.
It has been my understanding that the ECU still needs to think it is telling the solenoid what to do. And it is, but with the hoses off we don't care what the ECU thinks.

Kind of like when your wife thinks you are still within earshot when she is giving you what for. Nobody said you had to stay and listen, but she needs to "vent".

plugged my valves last weekend and drove 20 feet before i unplugged them. Sled has a studder right from idle. I ordered the pink springs to try again. has the springs seemed to help out the problem?

I put the pink springs in at the begining of the year when i put the SLP pipe on, so i will see if there is any issues with them plugged. The throttle response on my D8 has always been outstanding, I'm mainly doing this for the heat build up in the motor do to the solenoid opening when the "EPA" tells it to!!!!
