After market weights on stock Pro, are they worth it?

I Have a 2011 Pro that is stock with exception of a Black Purple in the secondary and was wondering if anybody has had any noticeable success with after market weights?

Sled seemed to hold good rpm 8150 while it was new the dropped off to 7700. so i put 2g lighter wieghts in mine. i wouldnt say i noticed a whole lot of difference other than when i looked down it said 8100 and sounded better while climbing and side hilling.

any of the heel heavy weights such as slp mtx's, belly buster's, even 11 series polaris weights will pull harder and help with peak rpm .....

you might check your power valves and make sure they are clean and no bellows leaks...

Really hoping someone will chime in with experience with MDS weights. Cats are having great success with them. Anyone tested them on a stock pro?

Edit: found a thread down the page talking about MDS. ha Guess we will get some opinions here soon hopefully.

11-60's make for a pretty harsh engagement at altitude in a stock springed, non-shimmed, faced sheave clutch. 11-68's are not so bad at lower elevations (below 1500). They do help for breaking the track loose when it's really cold out.

Anyone use the Dalton Ind. weights?
Used them in my M7 with good result. Easily adjusted in the field etc..

I run heavy hitters they are adjustable and you can take away or add weight from the heel out on the trail/mountians. If your serious about your clutching an adjustable weight is the only way to go in my opinion.

If you guys are going to try something you just as well try the MDS weights, they have a money back guaranty! I have had results in my cats and don't see why you wouldn't in a pro, both gained about the same on a track dyno. Just make sure if your not getting what you think you should to call MDS and let them know, my 1000 got worse and I spent a lot of time on the phone and then fixed the motor mount and secondary issues, then I saw the gains (even tried the old weights I had to make sure it just wasn't from the fix. The MDS weights works, but if there not for you its not going to cost you.
